Mission Statement

To provide an alternative to abortion, as a safe facility for pregnant women and girls who are in a life crisis and to provide opportunities for educational, physical and spiritual growth and reconciliation.

Profile

Fatima House accommodates girls and women who want to continue their pregnancy and give their babies the right to live.  Our girls and women come from all cultures, faiths and walks of life.

Here we offer love and understanding in a warm and accepting environment. Information is given on motherhood, pregnancy and baby care by an experienced midwife. Volunteers offer antenatal classes and preparation for motherhood, computer training, (leading to Pitman Examination Certification), Natural Family Planning and craft skills.  Transport is provided so that the young women can get to and from the clinic or hospital as well as continue their studies at the hospital school. We take full responsibility for the cooking and cleaning in the house and help with fund raising.
